Favourite item from the Campus range: "Supersoft Hoodie - it's so cosy! The teddy bears are pretty cute though too."
Sophie Simmonds is integral to how Campus Clothing operates. The support Sophie gives the team in administration or customer service tasks is vital in ensuring orders are completed on time. She helps the production team in preparing artwork and vinyl to be printed and has even been seen pinning badges on the Teddy Bears. Her role also includes helping with Payroll, general business administration and dealing with the HMRC when needed.
Sophie is married to Daniel and they have two beautiful twin boys. Being a family business is part of Campus’ DNA so, after working with the office team on an ad hoc basis and helping at a few graduation ceremonies over the years, Sophie joined the company in May 2017.
Sophie went to Oxford Brookes University and even bought a graduation hoodie with hers and the names of her graduating class on the back of it. Oxford Brookes was not one of Campus' clients at that time, but Sophie has more recently bought a scroll holder for her degree certificate, supplied by Campus.
She said: "Campus plays such a great role within graduation. We provide the items that the graduates and families can have to celebrate their hard work and which they wear with pride to show the world they did it!
"When restrictions lift, and graduation ceremonies are able to take place again, they will probably be even more joyous than before because everyone will be so keen to celebrate! We can't wait to get back out to the events and start selling the merchandise to happy graduates and their families in person. It is always lovely to be able to give them a special memento of their hard work. The ceremonies are always very happy events to be involved with."
