Here at Campus Clothing, we are voting with our feet, and choosing to partner with suppliers who deliver products that are proven to be compliant with key industry ethical practices & standards. Below you can see a selection of these standards:
PRINTING TECHNOLOGY & MATERIALS = Quality without compromise
Campus Clothing has recently invested in new DTF (Direct To Film) printing technology that enables us to deliver the highest quality print finish for our clients. We print all our garments using Certified Recycled Blend Polyester printing film, this meets the following key industry standards:
PRODUCTS & SHELF LIFE = We don’t do fast fashion!
The fashion industry, and in particular, fast fashion, is one of the biggest contributors to the climate crisis – that’s a fact. At Campus Clothing we are proud to go against the grain, and provide unique, personalised graduation clothing & gifts, designed with longevity in mind. Each item we sell is a souvenir to keep, wear and cherish for years to come – it won’t go out of fashion.
EXCESS & RETURNED STOCK = Locally Donated & Recycled
We proudly donate any excess or returned stock to our local Air Ambulance Charity. They bag up, weigh, and deliver this stock to an approved recycling facility. The Air Ambulance receives payment for each bag of garments, which goes back into the Charities fund & helps maintain their running costs.
WAREHOUSE & BACK OFFICE = Recycling & Reusing
Back at Campus Clothing HQ our warehouse and office staff are committed to recycling and reusing equipment and materials wherever possible. All printing materials such as a paper and printer cartridges are recycled, and our cardboard waste is collected and taken to a new state-of-the-art materials recovery facility where it is sorted and recycled.
POSTAGE & PACKING = Biodegradable & Recycled
Our postage bags are fully biodegradable and made from 30% recycled materials. Please pop them in your green bin if you have one.
